Every taka, accounted for.

Trust is the most valuable thing a donor gives us. These commitments are written into our constitution — not just our website.

Our financial commitments

See our governance structure

Foundation accounts only

All funds are held in bank accounts opened in the Foundation’s name with scheduled banks. No personal account of any office-bearer, employee or member is ever used to collect or hold Foundation money.

Traceable payments

Donations, fees and subscriptions are collected through banking channels and mobile financial services. Cash is discouraged and, when unavoidable, is receipted and banked by the next working day.

A receipt for everything

Every payment is identifiable by date, amount, name, method and reference, and an official receipt or digital confirmation is issued.

Independent annual audit

Our accounts are audited each year by a chartered accountant firm appointed by the Executive Committee, alongside internal financial review.

Reported to members

The annual report and audited accounts are placed before the Annual General Meeting and preserved at our head office.

Registered society

RUHA Life Foundation is registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies & Firms (RJSC), Bangladesh, under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 — Registration No. S-15411/2026, dated 1 October 2026.

No private benefit

No income or property of the Foundation may be paid to any member as dividend, bonus or profit. Members may only receive reasonable remuneration for services actually rendered, or reimbursement of genuine expenses — and must declare any conflict of interest.

Sustainable income, charitable purpose

The Foundation may run income-generating projects to sustain its work. The whole of any surplus from them is applied solely to our charitable objects — never distributed to members.

Foreign contributions

In line with the Foreign Donations (Voluntary Activities) Regulation Act, 2016, we accept foreign donations only after registration with the NGO Affairs Bureau.

Even at the end

If the Foundation were ever dissolved, any remaining assets would not be distributed among members, but transferred to another institution with similar charitable objects.

Reports & documents

Our first annual report and audited financial statements will be published here at the close of our first financial year. Members and donors may request information about our finances at any time.
